Beach Walk
Beach Walk

This painting was inspired by my trip last week to RI. Above are my neice and nephew walking on the Weekapaug Beach in Westerly R. I. which is where my parents currently reside. I had many beautiful days on this beach and some stunning reference materialwere obtained. I am sure I will have more paintings coming from this last trip. My favorite subject to paint is the ocean.

Shows
This past month has been hecktic getting ready for show after show. We had three receptions in three diferent towns in the Western Wake area of NC The first picture above shows my studio ready for visitors on the Western Wake Artists Studio Tour. This weekend I had a good turn out. It was fun to meet such interesting people and hear their comments about my work. Sales were good with some commission in the wings. Thank you to all my patrons!
Last weekend was the Cary Spring Daze Arts and Craft Festival. It was a cool day and the weather was kind. The rain held off just until break down time. I really enjoyed seeing friends, neighbors, students from the past and my regular patrons as well as meeting new enthusiasts!
