I painted this cow yesterday for the Karin Jurick weekly challenge I had so much fun painting him. This was a week for painting animals I guess.

This is my cat Holly. She has taken on a new spot on a table on my back deck. She has been there everyday this month. I can look out my kitchen window and it is her I see basking in the sun. I just had to paint her. She is an all black cat but the way the sun was hitting her fur it looked purple and orange.

Here is another animal. The children I teach have been getting a kick out of the animal series so I thought I would do somthing cute.

I love moose. Their is somthing so special about them. They look like several animals put together. They are awesome if you see one. Once when I was in NH visiting family their was a moose that seemed to be in love with this cow. They would meet every evening in the field and just stand close and rub each other. It was so cool. All I could think is that they were reincarted in these bodies and loved in another life. This is a true story!
