The Keys

oil 6x12

I had the Florida Keys on my mind yesterday and just had the urge to paint what was in my head. I used a pallet knife to paint this. I like the way it came out and I enjoyed working with the cool colors for a change.

Matt and Kelly

This summer I had a chance to visit with my family in RI. We went to the beach several times. This is a painting of my brother and my niece. It was a beautiful day we had a lot of fun!

This painting was done on location at Bond Park. The girl in the painting is one of my students. We painted outside for about three hours. It was such a beautiful day! The breeze was just right.

By the Stream

 0il 6x8
This painting was done near my house. I been spending a lot of time painting outdoors lately and just love it! The day was gray and cooler then it has been, there was a nice breeze. I started another one but have not finished it.  I will proably post it tomorrow.
