REFECTIONS IN A BLUE NIGHT
I have several paintings done from windows as I am fascinated by windows both looking out and looking in. This is a painting I did from the window in my room at the hospital. I was recuperating from a heart attack and continuing to paint and tackle difficult subjects was very therapeutic. The painting because of the imagery is both inside and outside at the same time - that was the way I was feeling. I was very much inside my body - more than I wanted to be - but in my mind I was outside into my life's activities as if nothing had happened.
